[Home movie: 098816: A rail fan in the midwest splices together scenes from two sponsored films about trains together with his own footage of a spectacular train wreck]

Composite reel featuring two sponsored films, "Railroad Story" by Lionel Films, and "Southern Pacific Steam Locomotive" spliced with the editor's own 16mm color footage of his own model railroad setup, together with a long sequence of heavy machines working to right a badly wrecked train. The Lionel film promotes model train sets in black and white; the SP film is composed of tripod-stabilized footage of passenger and freight trains.
